RULE 404-B - OXIDES OF NITROGEN

1. Fuel Burning Equipment
A person shall not discharge from fuel burning equipment having a maximum heat input rate of more than 1 1/2 billion BTU per hour (gross), flue gas having a concentration of nitrogen oxides calculated as nitrogen dioxide (NO2) in parts per million parts of flue gas (ppm) by volume at 3 percent oxygen: 125 ppm with natural gas fuel, or 225 ppm with liquid or solid fuel.
2. Sources other than Combustion Sources
A person shall not discharge from sources other than combustion sources, nitrogen oxides, calculated as nitrogen dioxide (NO2): 250 part per million by volume.
